Most people have been online shopping like crazy since the whole quarantine-thing happened. To be honest, I thought I would be one of those people, BUT I’m not. I just as shocked as you are. However, I did take some time to order a few beauty products from Notino and I figured I’d do a blog post about!
A Beauty Haul from Notino
When it comes to beauty products, I’m a very simple girl. I actually don’t wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis and I’m pretty amateur when it comes to putting it on. Most of the blame can be put on me being a tomboy when I was younger, but I do know the basics which means that I need to keep those beauty products stocked.
I never really go for expensive makeup brands, unless they’re really worth it. Typically, the cheaper brands do the job – if not better.
Notino is a great website for all kinds of beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and more. I’ve actually written a blog about them before!
They have a lot of products from the cheap stuff to the more high-end so it’s definitely worth shopping from there
Here’s what I got!
I Heart Revolution Banana Baking Powder
I’ve used I Heart Revolution baking powder before and I’ve loved it. This was the first time I got the banana one though, but I have no complaints. It smells SO good – just like bananas haha. I love how it comes in such a large container because a little goes a long way for me so it lasts me forever.
The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer
This was actually my first time purchasing this primer from The Ordinary. I have to say that this primer is EVERYTHING. It’s sticky which is something I love since it helps my foundation and the rest of makeup stay in place. You only need to use a tiny drop to cover your entire face. The ordinary is a cheap brand, but they have some amazing products that I highly recommend! This one was actually purchased from Douglas.
Revolution 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc
A few months ago I started using a similar serum by The Ordinary and I ran out. I couldn’t find a website from Bulgaria that had the same serum in stock, but Notino had this one by Revolution in stock. It had all of the basic ingredients as the one by The Ordinary so I tried it out. It’s amazing and pretty much works the same! It has done wonders for my skin. I’m going to do a separate blog just about this product so stay tuned!
Artdeco Glossy Lip Volumizer
I love a good lip gloss that’s not sticky, but still leaves your lips shiny and hydrated. This gloss does just that and it has a slight hint of mint. It’s also volumizing, which I personally don’t really see, but I love it nonetheless.
Vaseline Lip Therapy
I’m actually addicted to Vaseline Lip Therapy. I’ve been using it for more than 6 years now and I absolutely have to have one in my pocket or purse at all times. In America, I had always bought the little tiny container that’ll fit in your pocket. However, I had never seen Vaseline Lip Therapy in a tube! Super convenient and more sanitary, especially with corona. I bought the cocoa butter one and the rosy lips.
Essence Camouflage+ Concealer
I’ve been looking for a good concealer for years and I’ve never managed to find one that I actually liked. They all either don’t do the job or irritate my skin. I found this Essence Camouflage+ and saw that it apparently covers tattoos which is actually what convinced me to give it a try. So far, so good! It does the job, for now, but I’ll give it some more time before I decide whether it’s a hit or miss.
This beauty haul wasn’t a big one, but I definitely stocked up on a couple of essentials and things I’d been looking for. Notino always has some kind of discount or deal going on so I highly recommend shopping from there!
