Given that yesterday was Mother’s Day, I figured I would dedicate today’s blog post to none other than, my mom. This is the first Mother’s Day where I am not with my mom on her special day and it breaks my heart. While this post is dedicated to her, I hope my other readers will also enjoy and feel grateful for their own mom’s.
I want to start by telling you that you are the most amazing woman in my life and I am so incredibly grateful to have you as my mom. I cannot tell you THANK YOU enough. Thank you for absolutely everything. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without you, your love, your support, your wisdom, and more.
Far Away, Yet Still Always There
Even though I am not living under your roof or only an hour away from you now, I know that you are always there for me when I need you. You always do all that you can to make sure that I am okay. Your dedication to our family is noticed and always appreciated. YOU ARE APPRECIATED. I can’t imagine having a mom that wasn’t as hard working, patient, forgiving, and loving as you.
You Are the Strongest Woman I Know
You sacrifice everything that you have for your kids and your family. It shows in everything that you do. You put your children before anything so that we can have a better life than you did. I am truly blessed to have a mom like you. I hope to one day be as strong as you.
A Teacher and a Mother in One
Mom, you have taught me so much in life. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without you. You have pushed me non-stop to be the best version of myself and I owe it all to you. You have always given me advice, even when I didn’t want, it was always helpful. You have always had my back, supported me, and helped me when I needed it. You motivated me to work hard, study, and graduate college. You taught me how to love myself, how to be independent, how to care for myself. Thank you for guiding me in life.
This Mother’s Day and every single day, I want you to know how much you mean to me. You are an AMAZING woman, mom, and friend to me. When I have kids, I hope that they look up to me the way that I look up to you. I hope to be half the woman and mom that you are.
Thank you for being the best mother anyone could ever ask for. I wish I was with you today out of all days.
I love you beyond words.
