The DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area is large to some and small to others. You can get to a lot of the key places within an hour or so – if you pick the right travel time. This makes the area ideal for exploring and grabbing a bite to eat – especially when it comes to brunch. When I was home for the holidays, I spent a lot of time at brunch at some of my favorite spots in Maryland and D.C.. Now I’m sharing them with you!
I’m a HUGE dog person, if you didn’t know that already. While I love (most) dogs, of course, my dog is the closest one to my heart. Why not dedicate a blog post to him and introduce you all to my Weimaraner A.K.A. best friend and “son”?
I am not from Washington, DC, but I am from about 20 minutes outside of DC from a city in Maryland. With that being said, it is safe to say that Washington, DC is in my backyard and I’ve grown up around it. While being home for the holidays, I decided to go exploring and be a tourist in my own city!

It’s the end of January and I am just getting around to saying it, but it’s better late than never. I ended up going home for the holidays and surprising my family which is why I was so absent.

Thanksgiving is this week and what better way to start off the week than with a blog post on what I am thankful for? If you are traveling to Barcelona and you aren’t familiar with Antoni Gaudí or at least some of his work, chances are that you should look into him. Even if you aren’t taking a trip to Barcelona, it might still interest you to learn about him and his work. Casa Milà, or “La Pedrera” as it is called now, is one of Gaudí’s most innovative structures and also one of the last that he worked on. I ended up touring Casa Milà in Barcelona and it was incredibly interesting and beautiful!
Barcelona is tied with Florence at number 1 on my list of favorite cities. There is something that I am absolutely obsessed with when it comes to Barcelona and ever since 2017, I have been visiting AT LEAST once a year. Nothing stopped me from spending 3 days in Barcelona this year, either.
I have been a bit M.I.A. recently, but that is because things started to get hectic in my schedule. 10 days ago, I turned 24 and I am so amazed at how time flies. While for some, 24 may seem super young, I personally, am (not so) secretly wishing that I could go back to the days where I was wishing I was an adult and cherish them a bit more.
