The Quarantine Life – Tips on How to Deal

While the quarantine in Bulgaria is pretty much over, for now and hopefully for good, it is still going on in many parts of the world. Staying motivated is something that everyone struggles with. It’s likely that staying home has brought up a bunch of emotions for you, but hopefully this blog will help deal with the quarantine life.

You’re probably starting to lose your sanity or at least feeling like it. You’re not the only one. A few weeks ago, I posted an at-home survival guide with many things to do while at home. That’s somewhere to start!

Also keep the following in mind:

Use This Time to Your Advantage

Think about it – when will be the next time that you have this much free time on your hands? Use it to your advantage. Start new projects, catch up on old ones, find new hobbies, catch up on your favorite TV shows, etc.

You can also use this time to practice gratitude. Reflect on your life and on what you are thankful for. It could be something as simple as having food in your fridge or extra toilet paper during this pandemic. Set aside some time each day to think about what you have to be thankful for.

Develop the Ideal Work from Home Space

Many people have the option to work from home. Working from home has its perks, but it can also be challenging when you don’t have the right rhythm + work space. Follow my tips on how to stay productive while working from home.

Put Down Your Phone and Your Laptop

If you’re anything like me, you are cringing at your weekly screen time report every Sunday morning. Even though I have blue light glasses to help protect my eyes, it’s still not healthy to stay in front of a screen all day. Read a book, take up journaling, do some at-home workouts, and just rest your eyes from electronics.

Everyone handles situations differently. As you can tell, when I have a lot of time on my hands, I tend to bake and cook. It’s one of my hobbies that I typically don’t have enough time for, but quarantine has got me back into it.

I have some tips on how to improve your motivation which can be perfect for the quarantine life.

As cliché as it sounds, I do hope you all are staying safe and following the quarantine restrictions in their cities, states, countries, etc.
